About Us

Started in 1983, Styrobeck Plastics is now a world class manufacturer of cut and moulded expanded polystyrene, and plastic injection moulded products. These products offer solutions to the packaging, building, manufacturing, horticulture and fishing industries. We currently operate factories in Auckland (Manukau) and Wellington (Lower Hutt).

With modern plant and up to date technology our goal is to manufacture plastic based products to suit our customers needs. We concentrate on the end use requirements and design products in conjunction with our customers to handle today’s needs and those of the near future.

We pride ourselves on our flexibility and performance through research, design, material selection, mould selection and manufacturing, production techniques and on time delivery of finished goods.

At Styrobeck Plastics we understand a product’s design may never be truly finished. Needs and use parameters change and we need to adapt with them and our customer’s requirements. Improvements are always being sought through the process or the end use. Our philosophy is to work closely with our customers and to build a partnership that benefits and maximises the end result for all.

Recently we were acknowledged by our peers as being judged as the Manukau Business of the Year in winning the Supreme Award at the 2006 Westpac Manukau Business Excellence Awards.

We manufacture both the EPS panels and the plastic components of the Ambionse insulated concrete formwork at our Manukau facility and service the country from both Manukau and Lower Hutt.
