Healthy for You

Conventional fibre insulation is not strong or airtight. The insulation in an Ambionse wall is solid and does not allow air to pass through, and will never settle to create gaps. Fibre insulation can settle and sag creating holes in the insulation layer, rendering the insulation useless. The closed cell insulation in an Ambionse wall along with the concrete create a complete sealed envelope around the entire building.

There is no need for damaging timber preservative chemicals because an Ambionse wall is made from durable inert materials and will not rot. Also, only  steam and water is used to produce Ambionse. No CFC's, HCFC's, formaldehyde or any chemicals are used in the manufacturing process.

The greenhouse effect is a direct result of harmful gas emissions into the earth's atmosphere. One source of these gases is from energy generation. Because an Ambionse home tends to be more energy efficient, there is less demand on the sources of energy.

A typical Ambionse home reduces energy consumption on average by 30-50% per month, which translates to an equivalent reduction in harmful emissions. Also just imagine how high the hydro-lake levels would be next winter if New Zealand homes had reduced heating requirements.
