What is Ambionse?

Ambionse is a type of product known as Insulated Concrete Formwork or ICF. It is permanent formwork (or boxing) for solid concrete walls. The hollow Ambionse ICF blocks stack up easily and then are filled with reinforced structural concrete. The formwork remains in place to provide the insulation for the walls.

This combination of solid concrete and high levels of insulation is what sets Ambionse apart from other construction types. ICF’s are used extensively in North America and Europe for basements, full homes, and commercial & infrastructure developments. In fact on any projects where energy efficiency or construction simplicity is a feature.

Ambionse is made from high density, fire retardant EPS panels with polypropylene flanges moulded in. Polypropylene bridges are used to connect the two panels and locate the reinforcing steel.
